Coffee Date

Anyone else in “weekend warrior” mode? I had a busy week and have another one coming up, so I’ve spent a good bit of time this weekend just coloring and making cards. One of the cards I made today was created using this Freshly Made Sketch and some easy-peasy coloring!

images: Coffee Love (ALT&NEW)

I love the clean modern look of the images on the packaging of this set, so instead of using Copics and trying to add shading, I went another route. I stamped the images and sentiment with Versafine Onyx ink and then colored in the coffee pot and cup with Marvy LePlume markers. Poor little markers, they’ve been so neglected! I love the clean solid look they provide which is just what I was looking for!

To see more cards based on this design and play along with the sketch challenge, be sure to visit the Freshly Made Sketches site. In case you are looking for even more ideas, don’t miss the tabs at the top of the page which link to their previous challenges. So much inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!
