Isabella – Freshly Made Sketch(es)

There’s a lot of inspiration out there on the web. Doncha love it?! Finished cards, color combos, techniques plus my all-time favorite – sketches! Today, I’m excited to share a card based on Freshly Made Sketches challenge to use this layout:

FMS366

This open sketch really leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I went with a stencil and embossing paste to which I added some red ink. It came out a little more pink than I wanted, so I laid the stencil back over and dabbed on more red ink. I used the finished color as a starting point for coloring in this beautiful image by Picket Fence.

  1. I just love the colors on the stenciling and that image is FABULOUS! I might be biased, haha. So glad to see you this week at FMS and thanks for entering our DT call!
